How long can I keep a borrowed notebook?
To maintain maximum availability, we allow notebooks to be checked out no longer than two weeks.
What happens if the notebook is stolen or damaged while I have it?
Your department will be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing the notebook.
What happens if the notebook experiences a hardware failure while I have it?
Information Technology will be responsible for all repairs when the notebook is returned.
Can specialized software be installed on the notebook?
Usually software is licensed by the individual computer and these computers are only licensed for the standard facstaff image. If you have specialized software and you will not violate your license agreement, you can install the software yourself.
