About Me

I came to William & Mary in February, 1996 from my undergraduate alma mater, Presbyterian College. I served as Coordinator of Volunteer Services and Director Minority Affairs from 1990 – 1996. I have held several positions at William & Mary: Assistant Director of multicultural Affairs (1996-1999); Director of Multicultural Affairs (1999-2007); Interim Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs (2007-2009); Assistant to the President for Diversity & Community Initiatives (2008-2012); Chief Diversity Officer (2012- present).

Primary Responsibilities

Oversight of institutional diversity efforts.

Personal Interests

Reading, technology, sports (avid Steelers fan), enjoying time with family and friends.
