Diversity in the Workplace Students
Charles Ariyibi
Charles is a Senior studying Economics and Psychology from Old Greenwich, CT here at William & Mary! Around campus Charles is a Tour Guide and Senior Interviewer, as well as part of Student's for Undergraduate Advancement. During his free time, Charles enjoys reading books, watching sports, and eating locally in Williamsburg. Charles is an avid Formula One fan, and has aspirations to one day be part of an F1 team.
Caroline Brickley
Caroline Brickley is a senior Economics major intending on pursuing her Master of Business Administration next year. She is excited to learn more about diversity, equity, and inclusion work in the context of the professional sphere. Outside of the classroom, Caroline participates in the Conduct and Honor Advisor Program where she provides counsel for student respondents faced with an honor or conduct violation. She is also the Alumni Network Chair for Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and a member of the Howard J. Busbee Finance Academy. In the Williamsburg community, Caroline volunteers with SCORE, an organization dedicated to mentoring aspiring local entrepreneurs. She enjoys spending her remaining time going on runs, exploring new places with friends, or napping outside.
Hannah Maguire
Hannah Maguire is a junior studying Economics with a minor in Management and Organizational Leadership at W&M. She spent her last year studying abroad at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Hannah is from Houston, Texas but has lived in Egypt and Indonesia.
Pietro Marino
Pietro is a junior from Chatham, New Jersey double majoring in Government and Marketing. On campus, Pietro serves as the President of Alpha Kappa Psi, William and Mary’s only co-ed professional business fraternity. He also is a member of Students for University Advancement, a Facilitator-In-Training for Tribe Innovation and works at the Alumni House as an events staff. Prior to this winter session in DC, Pietro also participated in the Washington’s Center Summer Institute Program in 2021, as well as the winter seminar session last academic year. Pietro is excited to be back in DC this winter to participate in Professor Wagner’s “Diversity in the Workplace” course, which he hopes will continue to educate and expand his knowledge on the ever-evolving topics and discussions surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion.
Tasia Ricks
Tasia is a junior from Hampton, Virginia majoring in Government with a minor in Sociology. She works as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy and Riverside Regional Medical Center. On campus, she is a mentor in the Merrimac Mentors Group. In her free time, she loves to practice makeup, shop, and travel! Tasia plans to attend law school after she graduates and eventually practice Corporate Law independently. Her research interests include Diversity & Inclusion as well as the impact of social movements on political outcomes.
Jeremy Rinaldi
Jeremy is a sophomore at the College of William & Mary studying International Relations with a self-designed co-major in Sports Analytics. On campus, he is an equipment manager for the W&M football team, and enjoys spending his free time watching professional and college sports.
Kavi Shah
Kavi is a Sophomore planning to major in either Public Policy or Economics with a potential minor in Finance. He is from Newton, Massachusetts, but is happy to be spending four years in Williamsburg away from the cold. On campus, Kavi is involved in Greek Life and public health research projects. He is especially interested in healthcare policy and American economic policy. He is extremely excited to spend nearly 2 weeks in DC as he hopes to one day live and work in the nation's capital.
Lesley Sun
Lesley is a junior studying sociology and classics at William and Mary. She has great interest in topics concerning diversity and gender equality. On campus she participates in the archery club and is an active member of the German house. In her free time, she likes to draw, watch movies, travel around, or going back to China to stay with her family and friends.
