BOV resolutions regarding new appointments, promotions and leave
The William & Mary Board of Visitors recently approved resolutions at their December 2011 meeting regarding faculty promotions, tenure, leaves of absence, term distinguished professorships, designated professorships, and the appointment of professional faculty members.
The following member of the faculty was approved for promotion from associate professor to professor:

The following member of the instructional faculty has been recommended for the award of academic tenure.
