Interests: Interested in sharing information about applied psychology research careers, particularly in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology and career paths in business schools. I conduct applied psychological research and teach classes in organizational behavior and negotiations in the VCU School of Business. My research focuses on the study of organizational climate in service organizations, the emotional labor demands of service work, and the inter-organizational drivers of customer satisfaction. I've also done research on stress and coping in dirty work jobs, diversity in organizations, and work-family balance. I'm also an associate editor of the Journal of Business and Psychology.
