Russian Major and Minors
Global Studies Major with a Concentration in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies
Modern Languages & Literatures does not offer a major in Russian Studies. If you wish to focus on all things Russian during your undergraduate career, we recommend that you major in Global Studies with a concentration in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies. This major offers great flexibility to combine language study with coursework in a range of disciplines including the history, anthropology, art, literature, religions, and politics of Russia and the post-Soviet states.
Minor in Russian Language and Literature
Modern Languages and Literatures Russian Program offers a minor in Russian Language and Literature. This degree focuses on Russian language, literature, and culture. It requires 21 credit hours beyond 202, only 6 credits of which may be in translation.
Minor in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies
The minor in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies combines the study of Russian language and literature with the study of Russian history, economics and politics.
