The Emerging Scholars Series
The Emerging Scholars Series is a partnership between the A&S Graduate Center and the Williamsburg Regional Library (WRL). The series features A&S graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in a series of talks hosted by the WRL intended to bring cutting-edge research to the local community. W&M's Three Minute Thesis Competition
The annual 3MT® Competition brings together graduate students from A&S, Education, and Marine Science (VIMS) to present their master's or doctoral research. Competitors are allowed one static slide, no props, and just three minutes to effectively explain their research and its importance to a general audience.
