Advice and Considerations
Applicants must have received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university before enrolling in the MPP program. We prefer the equivalent of a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree, but will consider three-year international degrees. The only exception is undergraduate students at William & Mary who are accepted into the Accelerated Degree Program. Official transcripts from the registrar of each institution of higher education attended should be submitted following the instructions on the How to Apply page.
One year of economics is strongly recommended. We also recommend intermediate microeconomics and introductory statistics.
