Minor in APIA

Declaration:

Students interested in declaring the APIA minor are advised to enroll in APIA 205: Introduction to Asian & Pacific Islander American Studies. To discuss their interest and program of study, they are strongly encouraged to visit with any APIA faculty or the Program Director, Professor Deenesh Sohoni at dssoho@wm.edu.

Minor Requirements: (18 credits minimum)

I. GATEWAY (3 credits)

APIA 205 - Approaches to Asian and Pacific Islander American Studies

**II. CORE (9-12* credits)**

Students must pass a minimum of 9* credits in any APIA courses.

I. SENIOR SEMINAR (3-6 credits)

Students must pass a minimum of 3 credits in any 400 level seminar, excluding APIA 480.
