Minoring in Economics
Every year, about 50 students are pursuing a minor in economics at W&M.
An economics minor requires 18 credit hours of courses in economics beyond ECON 101 and 102 (Principles of Economics). The 18 semester hours must include ECON 303, 304, 308, and at least 3 semester hours in courses numbered 400 or above.
An economics minor might be especially useful for students majoring in government, public policy, sociology, or business.
