Background
John Bedford earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry – Biochemistry from Old Dominion University. He was teaching at Norfolk State and Christopher Newport Universities before coming to William & Mary. Professor Bedford’s doctoral research focused on protein folding and stability. His teaching assignments will include General Chemistry lectures and lab sections. He will also serve as the Director of General Chemistry Laboratories.
