With the opening of two new buildings in W&M's Arts Quarter in fall 2023, the campus kicked off the Year of the Arts, a community-wide celebration of artistic expression and accomplishment.

Arts Quarter
In fall 2023, William & Mary opened a new Arts Quarter designed to create an exemplary environment for the arts.
Andrews Gallery
Since 1977, William & Mary has supported an exhibition program at Andrews Gallery. The Gallery has approximately 1,300 square feet of exhibition space and is located on the first floor of Andrews Hall.
The Muscarelle Museum of Art
The Muscarelle Museum of Art, located at Lamberson Hall on the campus of William & Mary, is a culturally-rich art institution, serving as a dynamic resource for our community, a working laboratory for the university, and a platform for visiting exhibitions and the Museum’s own collection.

At William & Mary, our students and faculty create the arts, study the history and aesthetics of various art forms, and examine the influences and meanings of the arts as they are woven through virtually every academic discipline.
