W&M in 30: Holi
Students gathered on Jamestown Field to celebrate the Hindu Festival of Colors also known as Holi. Holi celebrates the transition into spring and serves as a reminder of good triumphing evil. Throwing colored powder at friends and strangers to brighten their white clothing, is the most beloved tradition of this holiday. By the end of the festivities, everyone is covered in an array of colors and united as one! This event was sponsored by the Hindu, Sikh and Jain Association.
