Institute for Pilgrimage Studies

The Institute for Pilgrimage Studies was established February, 2011 with the dual purpose of bringing together scholars to discuss research on pilgrimage around the world and with special attention to journeys to Santiago de Compostela. The Institute has evolved as the premier US-based hub for interdisciplinary research and teaching on pilgrimage as transformative travel in every time, territory and tradition.

Symposium for Pilgrimage Studies

The symposium will be held November 8-9, 2024. The deadline for our call for papers is June 20, 2024.
