Steven Gianvecchio Wins Distinguished Dissertation Award

Dr. Steven Gianvecchio received the 2009-2010 Distinguished Dissertation Award in the Natural and Computational Sciences for his dissertation, Applications of Information Theory and Statistical Learning to Anomaly Detection, under the direction of Prof. Haining Wang. The award is given to a single Ph.D. student at the College of William and Mary for their exemplary achievement in graduate student research as demonstrated by the content of their dissertation.
