Content Cleanup & Accessibility Compliance

Led jointly by University Communications, University Marketing and Information Technology, William & Mary is reimagining our externally-facing website and exploring a new internal communications platform (intranet). This work is vital to strengthening the university's brand, driving prospective student demand and improving the online experience for all audiences.

In preparation, all current website content must be reviewed for quality and meet new digital accessibility requirements. In fall 2025 a point of contact was identified for each site to coordinate this effort with their fellow editors. Below you will find guidance, resources and tools provided to help ensure this vital work can be accomplished.
