European Studies
European Studies provides interdisciplinary exposure to Europe's history, culture, and politics. It emphasizes both Europe's regional specificity and its historical and contemporary interactions with other global regions. The program offers an opportunity to engage critically with the history and legacies of European colonialism and imperialism, and to explore issues of identity, migration and displacement, human rights, and minority representation. Core courses are drawn from History, Art History, Classical Studies, Government, and Modern Languages and Literatures.
